It’s Time To Laugh

“To every thing there is a season… a time to laugh…” (Eccl. 3:1-4).  Well, it’s time for another laugh article. (Church humor) A preacher said, “Do you know anyone perfect?” To his surprise a man raised his hand and said, “Yes, my wife’s first husband.” Pastor to deacon, “Don’t you do anything fast?” The deacon slowly replied, “I get tired fast.” One pastor stated, “We would have a good church if it weren’t for the people.” A  pastor said, “The two big problems in the church are ignorance and apathy.” A deacon replied, “Well, I don’t know and I don’t care!” Pastor to deacon: “Why are you are always negative! Just once can you be positive?” The deacon said, “Well, I am positive it won’t work.” Tech pastor prayer: “Our Father give us this day our daily bread and deliver us from E-Mail …Amen.” Sign on pastor’s desk. “There are only two rules to follow: One: the pastor is always right. Two: If the pastor is wrong, please refer to rule one.” (Humor) What is a workaholic? A person who says, “Thank God it’s Monday.” Patient: “Doctor, I have a problem I just keep forgetting things.” Doctor: “Well, let’s talk about your problem. Patient: “What problem?” Another Patient: “Doctor I feel inferior.” Doctor: “It’s alright because you are inferior.  (Thot) A woman marries a man expecting him to change, but he doesn’t. A man marries a woman expecting her not to change, but she does. (Couples) Wife to husband, “What are you doing today?” He said, “Nothing!” She: “That’s what you did yesterday.” He: “I know, but I did not get finished.”  A new bride called the pastor: “Pastor we just had our first spat and it was awful!” The pastor smiled and said “Well all marriages have problems.” The bride said, “I know, I know! But what do I do with the body?” Husband to wife: “You are impossible!” She moved close to him and said, “No, I’m next to impossible.” A couple sat on the porch after their 50th anniversary. As he rocked, he leaned proudly toward her and said, “You have been tried and true.”  She yelled back, “I’m tired of you too.” Wife with new glasses looking in mirror: “Look at all the wrinkles, bags, age spots. I look old. Quick, honey, give me a good compliment.” Husband: “You sure have good eyesight.” A smile is understood in all languages.” So share a smile and laugh with others. There are times when everyone needs a hug, smile, or a laugh. Why? Because it is good medicine that makes a merry heart (Prov. 15:13; 17:22).  You will be glad you did and so will others!

Timely Thot: With your little God can do much – With your much God can do more. – TC
