I was born and raised in a Christian home in Torrington, CT. My parents brought me to church every time the doors were open, and at an early age, I realized that I was a sinner destined for Hell. At the young age of four, I knelt beside my bed after a church service, and asked Jesus to save me.
As I grew older, many doubts began to plague my mind. I wondered if I had been too young to fully understand salvation. Over and over again, I would pray, asking Jesus to save me. One night, I could not handle all my doubts anymore. I opened my Bible and read John 6:37, “All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.” That night, I prayed one final time and claimed the Lord’s promise in that verse. I do not trust in my feelings anymore, but I trust the precious promise of God given to me in His Word. At the age of 11, I followed the Lord in believer’s baptism and began serving in my local church.
I was born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, the youngest of several brothers. I was born into a Christian family and attended a Christian School from kindergarten on. I was seven years old in second grade when I heard how there was a Friend that sticks closer than a brother, (Proverbs 18:24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.) and I wanted that kind of Friend. A teacher then took me aside and showed me from the Bible how Jesus was that Friend and how that my sins had separated me from having the right relationship with Him. I believed on Christ and was born again, now with a Friend who would be with me forever.
I was baptized in the summer of 2003 and became actively involved in the ministries of my home church, Emmanuel Baptist.
