Seek to do just a little more
My Onesiphorus Poem
Did I do my all – When no one knew – no one saw.
Ted Camp [II Timothy 1:16]
Let’s Do Just A Little More – Wonder what we could accomplish if we all would just do a little more as a steward and servant. Wonder what difference we could make in someone’s life this week. What if you just report to work a little earlier, leave a little later, pray a little more, and seek to do a little more when you find the right opportunities. The Lord gave honor to those who did just a little more. A widow could have dropped in one mite but she did a little more and gave two, all she had. The Lord suggested that we go not only a mile but to go the second mile. Not to just give a shirt but give your coat (Matthew 5:40-41).
“Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” – Matthew 25:40
One man stated, “I started shoveling snow from my driveway, but then I thought I should do a little more. So I shoveled my neighbor’s driveway and then another…afterward it just felt good. I then thought I should make it my lifetime practice to do just a little more.” What if we would smile a little more…laugh a little more…encourage others a little more. Just a little more could make a big difference.
“Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might.” – Ecclesiastes 9:10
Don’t seek to get but seek to give…Just a little more!
Let’s all seek to do just a little more!
Small deeds done are better than great deeds planned. – –Peter Marshall
