The Deaf Can – Let Your Light Shine

Let Your Light Shine

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” – Matthew 5:16

We need more deaf to let their light shine into the dark world. When people see your light and your good works they can glorify your Heavenly Father. I remember when I was a little boy and for the first time I saw a light bug. It was dark, but the light bug would show light everywhere it went. It was interesting, so I got an empty jar and made small holes in the lid. I put the light bug in the jar and watched it light off and on. I thought God twisted the bulb on the light bug. It was hard for me to believe that God created a light bug. How did it make a light? Today I thought about the light bug in a jar. It would be wonderful if deaf people would keep a light bug (Jesus) in their hearts and let their light shine as the light bug. It is sad that some deaf do not have a light to shine before others. The bulbs on flashlights and cars can become dirty and the light will not shine bright. Deaf people need to keep their lives clean so the light of Jesus Christ can shine bright. Notice a light is easily seen in the darkness. Even a small candle can make a bright light in the darkness. It is exciting when Deaf people become lights to help others out of the darkness of Hell. The deaf in darkness need you to be a light to help them find the way to Heaven. Let your light so shine before the deaf!
