Please send your request on church letterhead with signature of
pastor or other authorized person. SWM will invoice church after
publication.
You Design Ad - Artwork may be sent by email to SWNP @ silentword.org (remove spaces)
or on paper by postal mail to our office.
Requirements for submitting ads by email:
- JPG format only (no PDF or other formats)
- 300 DPI (dots per inch) or more
- Ad designed to proper size
- Black or grayscale color mode
- Adobe Photoshop is recommended for creating JPG artwork (ad)
Recommendations for designing ads:
- It is always best to design ads in graphic design software
such as PhotoShop (recommended). There are also low cost
or free graphic design programs available on the Internet (for example,
www.serif.com or
www.gimp.org).
- Print your design to confirm all elements print as you
intended. Sometimes shadows and lines change to dark black.
- Make sure the design fits within the space required.
Use program rulers, then print the design and use a standard ruler.
- Use no more than 3 fonts for your design.
- Keep the design simple. White space attracts
attention.
- Avoid underlining. Use bold or italics instead.
The Silent Word Newspaper is
produced electronically. Therefore artwork submitted on paper will be
scanned and used as submitted, unless otherwise advised.
We Design Ad - Silent Word Ministries can design text advertisements at no extra charge.
Please submit all information for ad by postal mail or email. SWM reserves
editorial rights on advertisements submitted as text.
