Church Ads

Church ads are listed on the Churches Page and have a 6-line limit.  Other information may be included, but it must all fit in 6 lines.  Cost: $15 per issue, $60 per year.  SWM will invoice church after publication.

Ministry Ads

Great for churches, ministries, or special events!  SWM will invoice church or ministry after publication.

Design Options & Requirements

The Silent Word Newspaper is produced electronically.  Therefore artwork submitted on paper will be scanned and used as submitted, unless otherwise advised.

1. You Design Ad - Artwork may be sent by email or on paper by postal mail to our office.
   1. Requirements for submitting ads by email: (Contact us for email address)
      1. JPG format only (no PDF or other formats)
      2. 300 DPI (dots per inch) or more
      3. Ad designed to proper size
      4. Black or grayscale color mode
   2. Recommendations for designing ads:
      1. It is always best to design ads in graphic design software such as Adobe PhotoShop (recommended).  There are also low cost or free graphic design programs available on the Internet (for example, Gimp at www.gimp.org, PagePlus or DrawPlus at www.serif.com).  (SWM uses PagePlus to create the Silent Word Newspaper.)
      2. Print your design to confirm all elements print as you intended.
      3. Make sure the design fits within the space required.  Use program rulers, then print the design and use a standard ruler.
      4. Good designs usually use no more than 3 different fonts.
      5. Smallest recommended font size is 8 points - 10 points and above is best.
      6. Keep the design simple.  White space attracts attention.
      7. Avoid underlining.  Use bold or italics instead.
2. We Design Ad - Silent Word Ministries can design text advertisements and simple graphic advertisements at no extra charge.  Please submit all information for ad by email or postal mail.  SWM reserves editorial rights on advertisements submitted as text.  You may also send a sample ad as a guideline for designing your ad.

Sender's Club

The Sender's Club is a group of individuals who send $10 monthly to help send The Silent Word Newspaper to subscribers.  The newspaper operates by faith and our desire is for it to be self-supporting.  SWM is grateful for those who help with this unique ministry.  Thank you for your consideration.
