The Silent Word Ministries Community Sign Language Class is for people living in and around Dade County, Georgia. This class will start with the ABC's and teach around 300 signs needed to communicate with Deaf people. Everyone is welcome. Cost: Free. ($5 Materials Fee) This annual class is conducted at the Dade Baptist Institute as a public service to promote deaf awareness in our community. Business men and women, nurses, restaurant workers, and students have benefited from these classes in previous years. Whether you are a beginner or want to improve your signing skill, this class will help you communicate with Deaf people.
