Read: Matthew 28:16-20

No One Told Me

"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature (person)" (Mark 16:15).

A person who knew sign language was visiting a family that had a young deaf son. She looked at the new baby girl who was a few months old and then signed to the young deaf boy. "What is your sister's name?" He hesitated, then signed, "I don't know, no one told me." It is sad that deaf people can only know what someone tells them. They are not able to hear the radio or understand most TV programs. Books are not written so that they can easily understand. It is also hard for the deaf people to understand Bible words because it is not their language. Once I was visiting a home where there was also a deaf boy. He loved to play with the cat. I asked him, "What is the name of your cat?" He also signed, "I don't know, no one has told me."

But this is the same for all people, we can only know what someone has told us. They may tell us in a book, by conversation, teaching or preaching. All people only know what someone tells them. The difference is that only a few people know Sign Language and tell the deaf people about God. We print a Christian newspaper to the deaf people to tell them the Gospel. We print literature and tracts to tell them about the Bible. Our ministry is dedicated to help the deaf people know the Bible and how to be saved.

I promised the Lord years ago that I would tell deaf people about Him. I don't want deaf people to come to me one day and say, "Why didn't you tell me?" or say, "No one told me."

Dear friend, how many times have you been told that you need to be saved? Can you truthfully say that no one told you? Many deaf people in America have never been told one time about the gospel but you probably have daily opportunities to be saved. If you are not saved, it is your fault because you have been told. You cannot stand one day and say, "No one told me." Why? Because I am telling you now as you read this article that one day you will die and meet God.

Be saved today, tomorrow may be too late. [TGC]

THOT: "Yes, Jesus loves me. The Bible tells me so."

TODAY: You can know you will go to heaven. Be saved today. Tell other people the good news!
